Bought this for vacation home in Kissimmee area. Due to a forty plus foot cable run, I had issues receiving ALL the local stations. NBC was the biggest problem kid. Outstanding performance. Over the last few weeks I've gone through Channel Master, Winegard and Mohu trying to find the best operation. I live about 25 miles outside Orlando, FL and was having trouble getting a solid signal for WFTV 9. I was having decent luck with the Winegard HD7698p simply for some reason WFTV nine betoken would fluctuate and the movie would pixelate especially during pelting. I really should send information technology dorsum for a refund merely I no longer have the box. Anyway, the build quality of the Televes is top notch. This is a VERY sturdy antenna and I have no doubt that information technology volition final for years to come. I dearest that it's but most half the length of the Winegard and I feel that it volition withstand the current of air easily. I went from 92% betoken forcefulness and 89% signal quality to 100% and 98% with the Televes. In fact I get 98-100% signal quality on every channel now. I am an engineer, a TV antenna installer and alive in Santa Ana, Costa Rica which is located in a valley inside a valley in the city of San Jose. See screenshots enclosed. My house is on the left side and the TV towers on the correct side on the graph. Associates was very piece of cake, appears to be well built and should handle the elements hither in Kansas. I take always used Winegard antennas and boosters but the quality is not as good equally it used to be. Ice storms and moderate winds wreaked havoc on the aeriform tubes. We live almost 40 miles south of Topeka, 80 miles southwest of Kansas metropolis and 100 miles from St. Joe Missouri. I have a 35 foot tower, but is surrounded by trees. We could merely picked up 12 channels from the Topeka area. I tried out the Televes DatBoss on a small tripod with rotor on the east side of house. The beginning scan for channels netted 80 plus channels from the above mentioned cities and this was thru the trees. When I rotored to the south we could pick up stations from Joplin Missouri and Wichita Ks. Can't wait to put it up on the tower. ... show more than
